Terror Module Busted In Amritsar, 3 Held


Chandigarh:  The counter-intelligence unit of the police in Amritsar claimed to have busted a terrorist module in which terrorists sitting abroad had instigated and inducted a few men from Punjab to launch anti-national disruptive activities. The cops arrested three persons, Gurpal Singh, Major Singh and Rachpal Singh, saying they had links with terrorists of the Khalistan Zindabad Force.

At a press conference in Amritsar, inspector general, counter-intelligence, MF Farooqui said, “In the wake of attack on RSS leader Brigadier Jagdish Gagneja (retd), Punjab Police had launched a massive hunt operation. All wings of Punjab Police were working in tandem to nab the culprits. Duringthis operation, the counter-intelligence wing successfully busted this terrorist module.”
