Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday was arranged press conference to brief the media about her recent tour of Wes Bengal, India. Hasina said that my government trying to establish mechanical water resource system.
‘Teesta Water Not Only Solution For B’Desh Water. I am trying to my best to hold waters for the Bangladesh people from Dredging system.’ Hasina told media.
Earlier, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said the government will take on board West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee while negotiating with Bangladesh the vexed Teesta waters issue.
“It is necessary to take the West Bengal Chief Minister on board (on the Teesta issue),” Sushma Swaraj said in response to a question during her annual press conference here.
