Techie Arrested For Creating Fake Twitter ID In Sachin’s Daughter Name

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police have arrested a techie here for creating a fake social media account in the name of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar.
As per source on Thursday Nitin Shishode, who works as a software engineer, was arrested from Andheri. He was held on charges of creating a fake Twitter handle in the name of Sara Tendulkar.

What’s shocking is that Shishode tweeted derogatory and objectionable comments against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar from the fake Twitter account.

The Mumbai Police’s cyber wing seized a laptop, two mobile phones, a router and other computer accessories from 39-year-old Sishode from his Military Road, Marol, Andheri, residence.

He has been charged with impersonation, cheating and defamation under IPC and the IT Act. A court has sent him to police custody till February 9.

The complaint against Shishode was filed by Sachin Tendulkar’s personal assistant. The fake account had shocked Sachin Tendulkar, the complaint said.

Sara is currently studying in London. A police officer said the fake Twitter handle @sarasachin_rt has uploaded several comments on Indian politics.
