•    Junior Assistant – 33 Posts
•    Plumber – 4 Posts
•    Typist – 31 Posts
•    Boiler man Grade-II – 2 Posts
•    Electrician Grade-II – 6 Posts
•    Wireman Grade-II – 5 Posts
•    Draughting Officer Grade-III – 1 Post
Educational Qualification:

•    Assistant Draughtsman (Civil) – The Candidate should be passed Certificate Course in Draughtsman-ship/ Diploma in Civil Engg with Machine hand drawing as major subjects
•    Junior Assistant – The Candidate should be passed in PUCI HSc or any other qualifications recognized equivalent thereto Preference will be given to degree holders
•    Plumber – The Candidate should be passed Working knowledge of the regional language with ability to read and write
•    Typist – The Candidate should be passed Minimum General Educational qualification Preference will be given to degree holders/ Typewriting English Higher/Lower/Higher and Typewriting Tamil Lower
•    Boiler man Grade-II – The Candidate should be passed in SSCL or equivalent examination/ Should possess IIlrd Grade Certificate issued by Chief Inspector of Boiler
•    Electrician Grade-II – The Candidate should be passed Must have ability to read and write the regional language/ITI certificate in the concerned trade
•    Wireman Grade-II – The Candidate should be passed Must have ability to read and write the regional language/ITI certificate in the concerned trade
•    Draughting Officer Grade-III – The Candidate should be passed in the special examination for Group certificate in building drawing which has been prescribed for draughtsman in the Gov!. technical examination

Age:

The candidate age should be between 30-35 years. Upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD applicable as per Govt. guidelines

Pay or Salary:

•    Assistant Draughtsman (Civil) – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Junior Assistant – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Plumber – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Typist – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Boiler man Grade-II – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Electrician Grade-II – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Wireman Grade-II – The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
•    Draughting Officer Grade-III – The Pay Scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.4200/- per month

Fee:

An application fee for SC/ST Candidates to pay of Rs. 250/- and All other Candidates to  pay  of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai
Selection Procedure for TANUVAS:

The selection procedure will be made on the performance in Written test and interview
