Damascus: The Syrian army continued their offensives against the terrorist groups in the province of Aleppo, killing tens of militants in heavy clashes on Tuesday.
The Arabic-language Al-Mayadeen television reported that over 100 Takfiri terrorists were killed in the Southern parts of the Aleppo province today.
The terrorists’ high fatalities came after they tried to prevent the Syrian army’s further advances in the northern province by relocating their forces from the northern parts of Aleppo province towards the western and southwestern parts of the province.
Earlier reports from Aleppo Province said that the Syrian Army and its allies engaged in fierce clashes with the militant groups in the Southern part of Aleppo province, and pinned down the terrorists behind their defense lines.
The Syrian army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah fighters attacked the positions of al-Nusra Front and other Takfiri groups in Khan Touman region, Kherbet Ma’rata, al-Ameriyeh and Karm Azeeza villages, and killed large groups of the terrorists.
The pro-government forces’ attacks were so heavy that did not permit the terrorists to carry out counter-attack operation.
The Syrian Army on Tuesday launched a fresh round of anti-terrorism operations in different neighborhoods of Aleppo to hunt down more militants across the northern city.
