Kolkata: Kolkata suffered two more Swine Flu death on Thursday taking the death tool to seven in the state.
77 year old Padmaoalash Dutta a resident of Haridevpur died of Swine flu in a private hospital at Tollygunge on Thursday. Another patient named Krishna Acharya aged 40 died in a private hospital in South Kolkata the same day. The State Health Department on the other hand contradicted that Krishna Acharya succumbed to Swine Flu. Health Secretary Molay Dey said no report was found to establish the fact that Acharya died of Swine Flu, although he did not clarify on the cause of the death.
The Health Department reported 11 more cases of Swine Flu on Thursday.
