Swine Flu Claims More Lives In Odisha, Toll Rises To 23


Bhubaneswar: The death toll in swine flu has increased to 23 in Odisha with two more persons succumbing to H1N1 virus, official sources said on Thursday.

While one of the two affected persons died during treatment at a private hospital here, another succumbed to the disease after being discharged from a private hospital in Cuttack on Wednesday.

Of the 43 sample tested yesterday, 12 were found positive, said an official adding 259 people have so far been tested positive for the vector borne disease in the state.
