Suspected ULFA Militants Gun Down 2 In Assam

Tinsukia:  Days after the dastardly attack in Kokrajhar jolted Assam, suspected ULFA (I) militants have opened fire in Bahbon village in Philobari area of Tinsukia district on Friday killing two people and injuring several others. The militants have targeted the Hindi speaking community of Assam and one of the deceased has been identified as Kishori Shah.

The chief minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has condemned the attack. A huge te4am of security force has rushed to the spot and cordoned of the area. The ULFA (I) is the anti-talk faction and is led by Paresh Baruah.
