Bankura: Nearly six months, the door of Ecopark was closed at Susnia hill in Bankura. Kolkata24x7 earlier published a news on this. After that, the administration was taking necessary steps to open the Murut Baha eco park. And on Tuesday, the door of Eco-park again opened for all.

It has been learned that the tenders were invited for maintaining this Eco Park several times on behalf of the Chhatana Panchayat Samity. But no company could fulfill the terms of the government. In these circumstances, the news of Kolkata24x7 caused a lot of disturbance across the district.

Thousands of tourists came here to observe the hills, natural beauty. A few years ago, for the sake of tourists, the state was created Murut Baha Eco-park. Although the park runs under the supervision of a private company, now their time was over. Though many times the tender was invited by the Chhatra Panchayat Samiti, no one was convinced to fulfill the condition. In this situation, members of a self-reliant group have been assigned the responsibility of managing this park.

Chhatarn BDO Sashwati Das said that the park was set up at the direction of district magistrate. At the same time, four cottages of this park will be open for tourists, she said.
