New York: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday met British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond in New York.
“After the PMs the Foreign Ministers carry forward the work. EAM @SushmaSwaraj with UK Foreign Secretary @PHammondMP,” tweeted Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met his British counterpart David Cameron on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Summit, had extended an invitation to him to get actively involved in the ‘Make In India’ initiative.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the United Kingdom in November this year.
