West Midnapore: Expressing displeasure over the order of CID probe by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee into the Pingla explosion which has left 14 people dead so far, leader of the opposition in West Bengal Legislative Assembly Dr. Surya Kanta Mishra has said that he has no confidence in the probe being conducted by the CID.

He said, “We don’t have any confidence in CID probe. We want an investigation under the guidance of the Court.”

He has alleged that police is speaking on the lines of Chief Minister so there is no use of the probe. He added, “If CM has clear intentions then she should come to Pingla within 24 hours.”

On the Other, BJP State President Rahul Sinha has demanded NIA probe into the incident saying that bombs were made at the house and were smuggled in various parts of the country and also abroad.

CID has said that fire crackers were being made in the house where the explosion took place.
