Islamabad: At least eight people have been killed and 44 injured in a suicide bomb attack at a Catholic Church in Balochistan’s capital city Quetta today.
Reportedly, two suicide bombers stormed the church- out of which one was killed at the entrance but the other managed to explode his vest inside.
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti in a statement said, “Hundreds of worshippers were attending services at the church ahead of Christmas at the time of attack.”
An emergency has been declared in all public hospitals in Quetta.
“All doctors and paramedics staff shall be vigilant and must use all available resources to give maximum proper health care facilities to the injured ones,” an official statement said.
