Stranded Labours Of Bengal Returns From Kerala


Howrah: Many people from West Bengal got stuck in Kerala during the flood. Some went for profession purpose and other stay there for their profession. At last labours landed in Bengal from Kerala on special trains.

Following the train West Bengal Government has announced buses and supplied food for them. Over thousand people returned from Kerala on these special trains from Trivandam.

The Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim was present at Howrah Station to receive those have returned from Kerala. West Bengal Transportation Department provided range of bus to reach them to their home. Bus were there to reach them to Murshidabad, Nadia, Malda and other parts of state.

Firhad Hakim supervised the camp opened in Howrah for Kerala flood victims. They have also supplied food for the flood victims.

Most of the people returned from Kerala are labour by profession. They can not forget the situation faced in Kerala. Howrah District Left Front has also assisted them with food and water.
