State Sign MoU With Tata Metallics For Skill Development


Kolkata: The state government signed a Memorandum of Referendum (MoU) with Tata Metallica on Thursday, a day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee returned back lands and compensation cheque to the farmers of Singur.

The state government signed a MoU with Tata Metallica, in the presence of Mamata Banerjee, on Thursday at Nabanna. Tata Metallica is taking the responsibility of an IIT at Kharagpur. Mamata Banerjee said that this work by the Tata would be for the betterment of the society.

On Wednesday, Bengal witnessed Mamata Banerjee welcoming the Tatas to set up their industrial trade in Bengal. If they require land for their industrial purpose, then the state government will provide the land at Goyaltor to them.
