State CPM Starts ‘Anahare Bangla’ To Oppose ‘Ahare Bangla’

Kolkata: State CPM opposes ‘Ahare Bangla’ event and started a program called ‘Anhare Bangla’. A mass rally was conducted on thursday by state left workers and CITU leader Shyamal chkraborty was the main organizer of the rally. The rally was started from Topsiya and ends in Milon Mela ground.  Shyamal Chakraborty, Sujan Chakraborty was gave speech in front of the gate. But the rhythm of program was cut over a banner frayed.

The second edition of Ahare Bangla, conceptualized to render a platform to the agricultural products of the state’s farmers, will be inaugurated by state panchayat minister Subrata Mukherjee on October 21 at the Milan Mela ground.

DC South-East Kolkata Police Gaurav Sharma said that they identified a left worker who cut the banner. After this the ruckus was started between police and left workers. Sujan Chakraborty said that their workers did not tear the banner, it’s done by outsider. Sujan Chakraborty also said that Police is doing ‘ dalali’ of ruling government.

After half an hour the situation kept under control. CITU Leader Shyamal Chakraborty said that Government is celebrating Ahare Bangla and in other hand tea workers commit suicide due to food. He also asked the value of the program.
