Kolkata: The Finance Minister of the State Amit Mitra is going to submit the detailed State Budget at the Vidhan Sabha on Friday. The State Budget is going to be presented for the first time prior to the day of the Union Budget. Keeping in mind the upcoming elections, the State Budget will be in accordance with the common people, feels the political experts of West Bengal.
A certain slice of the financial hub feels that the unemployment problem will be taken care of by the state government in this budget whereas another section of people feel that as the Vidhan Sabha elections are soon approaching, the government will not go for any long term planning.
Considering the present financial condition of Bengal, it is evident that the State Government is at the backfoot. The revenue allotted for the state was 45 thousand crore rupees but due to the tax imposed on the state, the government could not do any beneficial work. To generate extra revenue, the State Government has even decided to auction some of the coal mines of the state.
Now it is to be seen how the State Government acts or reacts to the financial crisis and the Finance Minister, Amit Mitra presents his budget.
