Srinagar: Government Forces have been conducting raids to arrest suspects in connection with SMHS hospital shootout.
Two cops were killed while a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant Naveed Ahmed escaped from custody after his associates fired upon the escort party inside the hospital on Tuesday. Highly placed sources informed Government Forces are on toes to nab the suspects and those behind the plot.
A police official wishing anonymity said that a special team from Srinagar raided a couple of houses in different hamlets of Kakapora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday night.
Raids were conducted in Lelhar, Begambagh, Kisrigam and Narbal villages. At least six persons including two brothers were picked up for questioning. The special team according to sources made these arrests in connection with the SMHS hospital shootout
