Speculations high over Cong-CPI(M) alliance ahead of polls

Kolkata: The speculation of an alliance between the Congress and the CPI(M) ahead of the Bihansabha polls has again come to the forefront. CPI(M) leader Gautam Deb has once again commented that they are ready to take every possible step to remove the Mamata Banerjee Government in the state and the Modi Government in the centre.

On the other hand, Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that their party hasn’t thought about the matter as of now.

So now on the question whether CPI(M) and Congress would be joining and fighting the elections, Gautam deb said, “The support can be issue-wise. Whether there would be an adjustment of seats will be decided by the central leadership. Adhir Chowdhury said that they have not decided on the matter.
