Speculations Arise At Tathagata Roy’s Interest On Pak Scribe’s Tweet


Kolkata: The Governor of Meghalaya and the right-wing social and economic thinker Tathagata Roy said to re-tweet a tweet of a Pakistani journalist repeatedly. The Pakistani journalist’s words have shocked heavy weight BJP leaders. The statement by the Pakistani female journalist and popular face of a TV channel Mona Alam has boggled the mind of a mature Hindu leader.

As a matter of fact, Tathagata has re-tweeted recently saying, “Once I asked Siddiqullah Chowdhury (president of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’s West Bengal branch), I worshiped idols, but your I also respect your right to read the namaz.But do you respect our right to worship idols? He laughed and did not answer anything.There lies the story. I said, the country has to make a decision. Because Siddiqullah is not alone. ”

It is not known whether Siddiqullah Chowdhury have re-tweeted or not. But the tweet attracted the attention of Pakistani journalist Mona Alam. Mona re-tweeting that, “When I read Namaz, I also respect the idol worship. If Siddiqullah said this, he should hang his head in shame.”

After Mona’s tweet Tathagata re-tweeted that,“The Pakistani Muslim woman’s tweet should be re-tweeted repeatedly. But that did not happen. Till Tuesday night, the tweet has been re-tweeted only 47 times.”

Regarding the tripple talaq issue the TMC leader Siddiqulla Chowdhury said on Thursday that, “The Quran Sharif is higher than the constitution of our country.” A BJP leader named Yashwant Singh posted a comment on Twitter and responding to the tweet Tathagata re-tweeted. When we tried to contact Siddiqullah Chowdhury but he was unavailable.
