Special Trains Arranged For Kaushiki Amavasya At Tarapith


Kolkata: It is Kaushiki Amavasya on Saturday, a very important tithi in the Hindu
rituals. To cater to the rush of pilgrims at Tarapith, the Eastern Railways are
running 1 pair of special train between Howrah and Rampurhat. It will run for three
consecutive days from Saturday.

The Up special train leaves Howrah at 5:45 am and reaches Rampurhat at 9:50 am for
all the three days.

This train has all general second class coaches and will stop at Seoraphuli,
Bandel, Bardhaman, Gushkara, Bolpur and Sainthia stations enroute in both the
