Sonia urges senior leaders to stop party’s inner fight

New Delhi: After the Delhi poll debacle where the Congress could not even manage to win one seat, the Congress President Sonia Gandhi has asked the senior party leaders to stop venting out their anger on one another openly.

Gandhi sent out the strong message during a meeting with the party’s Delhi Chief PC Chako.

After the defeat, a war of words triggered between three time Chief minister Sheila Dikshit and the CM candidate Ajay Maken.

Dikshit had argued that the campaign should have been more aggressive and no words were spoken on the works done by the previous Congress Governments of 15 years.

She also alleged that she was not involved in the campaign and wasn’t informed about the roadshows being held in the National Capital.
