Kolkata: In a rerun of the Robinson Street skeleton case in Kolkata, a 43-year-old man Subhabrato Mazumdar has been arrested later by Kolkata police. According to police sources, it is clearly incident of cold mind to draw pension.
Subhabrato Mazumdar is currently being interrogated. Sources said Bina was a government employee and had retired from Food Corporation of India. Subhabrato was a student of leather technology and was in the leather supply business.
Subhabrato draw pension of Rs 50, 000. He uses pension form to draw the pension. He also give life certificate. According police sources, he knew how to preserve body.
Subhabrata Majumdar used a debit card to withdraw cash from the pension account of his mother. We are investigating why the bank kept the pension account alive for the past three years without life certificates,” Police told.
