Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that full state
honours will be provided to Somnath Chatterjee who passed away on Monday morning.
According to sources, the body of Somnath Chatterjee will be brought near the High
court and then taken to assembly around 12.45Pm , to enable the members of the bar
to pay their last homage to the departed soul . The mortal remains will remain in
the cortege when at the High Court .
Body will be taken out from Hospital at 12.30pm to Calcutta High Court. Body will
be kept at Calcutta High Court till 1.15pm. Then Body will be taken to State
assembly where body will be kept for one hour.
At 2.15 pm, body will be taken to his house at Raja Basant Roy Road, where body
will be kept till 6pm.
