“Something Has Happened, I Won’t Disclose It Now”
New Delhi: Union home Minister Rajnath Singh in his sppech, on the completion of second anniversary of surgical strike said that “something has happened in past two-three days but won’t disclose it now.” He said this in context of the killing of a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan along the Line of Control (LoC) by Pakistan troops.
On Friday, Rajnath Singh indicated that Indian forces may have hit Pakistani targets across the border to avenge the brutal killing of a BSF jawan by the Pakistanis.
“Something has happened, I won’t disclose it now. Whatever has happened, has happened for the good. Trust me, something big has happened two-three days ago. And you will also see what happens in future,” Rajnath said referring to the killing of Narendra Singh.
“I have told the BSF jawans, don’t fire the first bullet, as they are our neighbours. But if they fire the first one, don’t count the number of bullets you fire back,” Rajnath said.
The government on September 27, 2018, released a fresh video clip of the 2016 surgical strike which was made using overhead footage from unmanned aerial vehicles or UAVs and thermal imaging, showing a terror launchpad being destroyed.
