Bankura: The SMS attendance system is introduced for Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary School Teachers of Khatra in Bankura. This system was introduced from Saturday on the directions of the district administration. This order, signed by Khatra sub-divisional BDO Raju Mishra.
According to the Khatra subdivision administration sources, the system was introduced first at Ranibandha and Khatra Block areas on 24 August. The system was also introduced in the remaining six blocks like Satkhira, Raipur, Taldangra, Simlapal and Indapur.
According to the instructions of the sub-division administration, the teachers have to send SMS to a specific number twice a day. The first message is to be sent from 10.45 am to 11 am and the second massage will be send between 4.20 and 4.30 pm. For primary teachers, the first message will be sent from 10 to 11 in the morning and the second message will be sent between 3.20 and 3.30 pm.
Also, the primary school morning section will have to send the first massage in the morning to 6.45 to 7.00 and the second message will have to send between 9.45 to 10.00 AM. Besides, if any other work is done by the school, then it will be informed through SMS.
According to the district administration sources, the attendance process will be introduced in teachers in Bankura Sadar and Bishnupur. Khatra sub-divisional BDO Raju Mishra told Kolkata 24 × 7, “Teachers’ Attendance in SMS system was introduced.
For the last several months, teachers were facing the problem at attendance system. This new system is helped teachers in attendance system. This attendance system has been welcomed by the teachers organization.
