Six bodies of Air Asia’s flight recovered

Indonesia: Six bodies were found near the wreckage of the Air Asia Jet which crashed into the java sea last month.

The divers were unable to reach to enter the wreckage where most of the passengers are believed to be trapped due to bad weather and low visibility condition.

The poor underwater visibility has hampered the navy’s effort to lift the main part of the plane from the sea bed.

The Air Asia’s flight QZ 8501 lost contact with the air traffic control on December 28 while on its way from Surabaya to Singapore.

The rescue operation which is being conducted by several countries has so far recovered 59 bodies and has located the ‘black box’ of the ill fated plane.
