Shops & Restaurants Beside NH To Be Evicted Soon
Haldia: In an effort to reduce the rate of accident, National Highway Authority of India, Kolkata (NHAI) has decided to evict shops and restaurants on National Highways. The authority has issued a notice stating that all the shops and restaurants on National Highways will have to shift within October 25 otherwise administration will evict them.
Mecheda bound, the 52 km long National Highway which connects NH-6 near Kolaghat more. The road used to use in to go to industrial city Haldia. Traffic control is risky in this road. Heavyweight trucks and passengers vehicles use the road for business purpose.
Both the side of the road have been occupied with growing numbers of shops and restaurants. The long distance trucks and commercial vehicle used to halt in front of those restaurants whch cause accident frequently.
Police losing control over managing the crowd. if they do not move from the roadside, a forceful eviction will be there by the government.
