New Delhi: Under attack for sexist remarks, JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav on Monday remained unapologetic for his comments on women’s complexion, as he raked it up again saying he was ready for a debate on the issue. After the issue was raised by Rabishankar Prasad of BJP in Rajya Sabha, Yadav defiantly held his ground. He was also criticized by Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, she said that such comments will send negative message among the masses.
On the other hand Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien said that he will not allow any such topic to be debated in the house. He also mentioned that colour of skin does not separate one man from the other.
