Shah meets top party leader to find face saving exit ahead of Parl session

New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah on Sunday held meeting with the senior Union Ministers to chalk out a strategy to counter the opposition in the Parliament during the monsoon session. He is also meeting party chief ministers Vasundhara Raje and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, both of whom are facing controversy.

While Vasundhara Raje has been involved in the Lalit Modi issue, MP CM Chauhan is under pressure over the Vyapam Scam from the opposition. Both the Chief Ministers will  be presenting their side of the story to the party so that the government can effectively deal with the opposition.

Shah also met with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
