Sex Racket disguised as Heroine-Making Firm busted


VARANASI: After reaching home from the clutches of the kidnappers, the victim’s statement has compelled the police to increase vigil on persons and groups operating sex rackets in the name of film making. On the complaint of the girl, Badagaon police have lodged an FIR against Mohan Singh alias Ramesh Prasad of Ara district in Bihar, who posed as a Bhojpuri film maker, Abhishek alias Chhotu and Alamgir.

A 15-year-old girl of a village in Badagaon went missing about 24 days back. Her family lodged a complaint with police. This girl managed to escape from the place, where she had been kept by the kidnappers. Later, she reached home with the help of Childline on Tuesday. She revealed how she was kidnapped and forced by the kidnappers for flesh trade. Her family members asked the girl to show them the place where she was kept. The girl was taking them to the place in Goithaha area, when she noticed one of the kidnappers identified as Alamgir.

The girl’s family members caught Alamgir and thrashed him when the local residents reported the matter to Sarnath police. The cops took the girl, her family members and Alamgir to Sarnath police station. SO Sarnath Amit Srivastava said that during initial interrogations, it became clear that the case was registered with Badagaon police, hence the matter was transferred there.
