Seven Injured in TMC Faction Feud at Murshidabad

Murshidabad: The fissures within Trinamool Congress has again made it to the open as rival Trinamool factions clashed with each other at Murshidabad’s Gudhia village on Tuesday. Seven people have been injured in the clash. The injured have been rushed to the Murshidabad Medical College.

As per reports, a brawl broke out between rival factions of the ruling party during an Iftar party which soon escalated into a full blown clash. Both the groups fired shots at each other. Police rushed to the spot after the incident. Tension prevails in the area.

On the other hand Trinamool District President of Murshidabad Mannan Hussain, termed the incident as a mere family fighting and said the party has nothing to do with the incident.
