Security Tightened Ahead Of Modi’s Mainaguri Visit


Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land at Bagdogra airport at around 2 in the afternoon and then will come to the Mainaguri rally in a helicopter. Three helipads are there within 100 metres. Two stages have been made at Mainaguri’s Churabhandar. Modi will give speech in one of the two, bullet-proof podium. CCTVs have been installed in the stage and around it.

Keeping the chaos at the Thakurnagar rally, more strict measures have been taken this time. Blocks have been made by using iron beams along with wood. The area has been surrounded with barricade and LED bulb. A huge police force, special protocol group is in the responsibility of the security.

Police surveillance will be present in both the stages. Special attention is being given so that no problem occurs in this Modi’s rally.

However, dense clouds are posing a threat to the scheduled rally. Despite of it, people have started gathering in the morning.

The PM will also inaugurate the circuit bench in this administrative meeting.
