SEBI chief praises WB Govt’s laws on Chit fund

Kolkata: Coming to Kolkata, the chief of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) praised the law of the state to control the chitfund market in the state. In a statement on Saturday the executive director of the organization said the laws enforced by the state can be an example for other state.

He even added that such a strong law has not even been made at the centre. The SEBI chief has said that they will follow the steps undertaken by the government of West Bengal in future. He also said that the organization is eager to work with the West Bengal administration hand in hand
