Kolkata: Sealdah Station has bagged the dirtiest railway station position. Swach Bharat had taken up the initiative to clean and shine Indian railways. An experiment was conducted at 407 stations of 16 railway stations.
On Friday, Railways released the report and according to the report, New Jalpaiguri station has come out as the tenth cleanest station in India, While standing at the last is Sealdah Station. Out of the five dirtiest stations of India, Sealdah stands on the top. The other dirtiest stations are Pune, Guwahati, Mughal Sarai and Delhi’s Hazrat Nizammudin Station.
