New Delhi: The hearing for the West Bengal Panchayat elections have been compleated on Monday as Supreme Court said that the division bench led By CJI Dipak Mishra will give verdict in a week.
The Supreme Court gives its verdict on uncontested wins in Bengal panchayat polls. Last week, due to some health issue of Justice Chandrachur and the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee the hearing on this case was postponed.
Earlier, the candidates of the opposition part failed to submit nomination for many seats in Panchayat polls due to the alleged violence of the ruling party.And due to this the ruling party candidates won without contest. This allegations came from the opposition parties of Bengal. The complaint was filed by the CPM against the ruling party.
