SC declines to transfer petition challenging Coal Ordinance

New Delhi: Supreme Court has declined to transfer petitions challenging Coal Ordinance pending in Delhi and Calcutta Hight courts to apex court. In order to avert what it described as a complex situation that could impact the auction process, the Centre on Monday moved the Supreme Court with a plea to get all the cases, transferred to the apex court.
