Saradha scam:SC defers State Govt’s hearing


New Delhi: The hearing of the State Government’s plea in the Supreme Court has been further deferred. The hearing was scheduled to take place on the fourth day of the current month. But as per reports, the hearing has been further deferred.

The state government had filed a case at the Apex Court complaining that the moves of the CBI in connection to the Saradha chitfund scam are influenced by the Central Govt. Hence, the state government had urged the Supreme Court to look into the matter.

This is the second time that the date of the hearing has been deferred.According to court sources, the hearing can take place on Friday, Feb 6. Mukul Roy, the All India Gen Secretary of TMC has already flown off to Delhi to be a part of the hearing.
