Saradha Scam: ED Seeks More Time to File Chargesheet

Kolkata: The Bankshal Court has approved a request filed by Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking more time to file chargesheet against Sudipta Sen and Debjani Mukherjee in connection to the multi-crore Saradha scam.

The Bench of Justice Shuvra Ghosh has granted ED some more time to file chargesheet in money laundering case against Sudipta and Debjani. ED’s lawyer had argued that as the case is under investigation some more time is required to file a comprehensive chargesheet.

Although Sudipta Sen was given bail on the money laundering case he is in jail pertaining to other cases lodged against him in the Saradha Scam.
