Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah took a tour to West Bengal on the occasion of Yuva Swabhiman Samabesh on August 11. Criticising ruling party government venture he has highlighted chit fund case Sarada and Narada Scam which involved leaders, MPs’ and ministers name. Now CBI has sent a letter asking for documents related to a bank account in a nationalised bank at Harish Mukherjee Road.
According to CBI source, 20-25 unknown draft have been dropped in the Trinamool owned account in last 2 years. Tentative amount of each draft is 10 lakh. The letter CBI has sent asking the senders name, address and reason stating their involvement.
In 2015, CBI asked for transaction related documents of 21 accounts. Cross-checking these details, no-name draft took the attention. But the concerned bank and TMC didn’t say anything on this. Ruling party supremo Mamata Banerjee in her speech on Trinamool’s Martyres’ Day said we are not afraid of the investigating organistions.
She specifically said, “CBI and ED can come on a fresh note but we are not bothered. We cann’t involve them as we have some access to some investigative agencies. I’m also aware of many thing but didn’t do anything till now.
