Sarada Scam: CBI Sends Notice To KMC Again


Kolkata: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has send notice to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation regarding the Sarada scam case on Friday. The investigation agency has asked for the Town Hall booking details.

According to CBI sources, some information related to the Town Hall booking has come out during the investigation of the Sarada scam. Based on this the investigation agency has send the notice. There it is asked that who have booked the Town Hall for the exhibition? And how much money was spent for the booking? How many times was the Town Hall booked? CBI has informed the KMC to submit all the details of the hall booking within 28th October.

Earlier, in 2015 the CBI had sent notice to KMC regarding the Sarada scam case. Reportedly, KMC had issued trade license to four organizations under Sarada. These organistaions includes- Sarada Reality, Sarada Housing, Sarada Tours and Travels and Sarada Garden Resorts and Hotels. The CBI had sent a letter to the chief manager of KMC asking for details of the license given to these organisations, how much money was received for the license fee and every details has ben asked by the CBI.
