Miami: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her partner Martina Hingis cruised to their second title in as many tournaments when they beat second-seeded Russian duo of Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova 7-5, 6-1 in the Miami Open final.
The duo who have formed a new partnership, had achieved success at the Indian Wells this year. The Miami title shows a classy affair of the two sensations who look to rule tennis world in 2015.
In the summit clash, the top seeds were broken thrice in the first set but they managed to bounce back and took the first set 7-5. The second set was far easier in comparison with the two conceded just one game to finish the match in 66 minutes.
Sania expressed her delight after winning her second tourney in a row with Hingis and her 25th WTA doubles title overall.
