Moscow: Three children are among 12 people who died after a fire broke out at a textile workshop in Moscow.
Russia’s Investigative Committee said one possible cause of the Saturday night blaze, which engulfed an area of 3,000 sqm, is arson.
Pavel Astakhov, Russian children’s rights ombudsman, confirmed three children including a baby were among those who died.
He said the victims were migrant workers who lived next to their workplace.
It took dozens of firefighters several hours to extinguish the blaze, the investigative committee said.
Investigators are continuing to rummage through the rubble for evidence.
