RSS Files Defamation Case Against State Education Minister


Kolkata: Rashtriya Swayam Sevak has lodged a defamation case against State Education minister Partha Chatterjee. Ajay Kumar Nandi, the field coordinator of RSS in Calcutta High Court has filed the case as he alleged RSS over the death of Darivit students of Islampur.

The State Education Minister directly said that RSS is lying behind the death of Darivit students which sparked layers of reaction. All the RSS supporters allover India demanded legal face off. Dhiraj Trivedi, RSS lawyer in Calcutta High Court. As per the source, there is a chance of the same case in Lucknow and Bhopal High Court.

The legal case has been filed against four layers. In the first layer, there is an Editor of English magazine. Second, Editor of a English daily. In the third row, editor of a Bengali news channel and fourthly State Education minister Partha Chatterjee. RSS has demanded 5 crore rupees as compensation.

After the death of two students, ABVP has demanded both of them as their counterpart. They alleged that police has shooted them. In retaliation of their claim, the ruling party blamed RSS involvement behind the incident.

Not only, Partha Chatterjee, CM Mamata Banerjee has also alleged the same. RSS has said that, “RSS is a cultural wing, Pro-hindu group who campaign for Hindutva. Many important leaders have their involvement with the group which is damaging the ‘Image’.
