RRB Cancels Exam Due To Cyclone ‘Titli’


Kolkata: In a Press Release, the Railway authority has cancelled all the examinations scheduled on October 11 and 12. Odisha government has decided to remain close all the schools and colleges due to cyclone ‘Titli’. The postponed dates of the examination will be informed through SMS or e-mail.

Railway Recruitment Board has published a notice for group -D on February in this year. The entire process for examination finished within March. The group- D level- 1 examination started from September. Bhubaneswar is one the centre of the South- Eastern railway. The examination has been postponed due to cyclone Titli.

Many examinees have reached Bhubaneswar for examination on October 11 and 12. There are many from West Bengal among the examinee. A troublesome situation has been situated after the sudden cancellation of the examination.

The notice was published that 62, 907 people will be recruited in group-D. As per the notice, Gateman, porter, pointman, truck maintainer, helper will be included under the notice.Sixteen railway recruitment board will take examination for electronocal, mechanical, engerring signal and telecommunoication department.

The Railway Recruitment Board will announce the changed date through SMS and e-mail.
