Mumbai: ‘Bapu’ was a firm believer of Non-Violence but for the third successive time, a ‘bloody’ film will release on his birth anniversary.

If on travels down memory lane, in 2013, it was Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Besharam’. In 2014, it was Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’. Now for Gandhi Jayanti 2015, we all will witness John Abraham’s action packed ‘Rocky Handsome’. The Director laughed when asked why he picked such a date for the release. He commented, “I don’t know if Gandhiji would approve. But we’ve tried to make a film that takes the action genre in Hindi to another level.”

If the grapevine is true, John attended a 12-day action workshop in Bangkok to get the stunts and the moves right. The Hunk, who has previously collaborated with the ‘Force’ Director, quoted ‘the actions will be in a very authentic space.’ According to reports, the film ‘Rocky Handsome’ is the remake of a Korean film, but it revolves around a different story altogether.
