RJD’s Tripathi Expelled For Speaking Against Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national spokesperson Shankar Charan Tripathi
was expelled from its party for criticising Rahul Gandhi for hugging Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.

It needs to be mentioned that the Congress and RJD are allies in Bihar. It can be
presumed that criticising the president of its allied party can tarnish the
relationship between both the parties.

According to reports, Shankar Charan Tripathi termed Rahul’s act as childish and
quite unexpected from someone who wants himself to be the prime ministerial
candidate in 2019. Though Tripathi praised Rahul’s speech, but his next words has
landed him in trouble.

Tripathi said that Gandhi’s act of hugging at the end and the winking had
completely washed away his speech.

Speaking to a national daily, Shankar said, “”He has been a parliamentarian for the
past 15 years. It was not expected from a leader like him to wink on the floor of
the House. So many cameras are installed in the house. Ward and watch people are
also there. In such a situation he winked. His act was akin to that of Priya
Prakash Varrier, whose act of winking in a clip of the movie Oru Adaar Love propped
her to stardom.”
