Hazipur: The Bigul of the Bihar Assembly polls have already been blown. The opposition and ruling parties have been engaged in war of words among themselves but Wednesday’s incident has given us the indication that the Assembly polls will be turning ugly this year with the killing of an RJD leader named Shivaji Rai in DawoodNagar area of Baishali district. He was the ‘Mukhia’ of Dawoodnagar village Panchayat. Police have started an investigation into the incident. SP Rakesh Kumar said, “Factional fight may be involved behind the murder.”
The Chief Election Commissioner will be visiting Bihar next month following which the dates of the elections will be declared.
