Ritesh Sends Letter To Modi To Allow East-Mohun At ISL

Kolkata:  Football is one of the most popular sports in Kolkata, West Bengal. Kolkata is known to be the hub of Indian football with the two most supported teams in the country being based within the city.  On June 19, a letter was written to the Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel by the BJP’s state secretary Ritesh Tiwari. In which he has requested to allow India’s two renowned football clubs East Bengal and Mohunbagan to play at ISL. He has also sent another of his letter to

the Sports Secretary, AIFF President Praful Patel and to East Bengal-Mohanbagan club. BJP’s State Secretary Ritesh not getting any satisfying replies has now decided to send another letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP’s State Chief Observer Kailash Vijayvargiya stood beside the two renowned clubs of West Bengal by issuing a press release. Meanwhile, Bangalore and Tata have already submitted their tender for buying a team in ISL 2017.

Although, two new teams have made a place into the list of ISL 2017 but East Bengal and Mohanbagan is not into the list as of now.  Chief minister Mamata Banerjee has stood beside both the teams leaders of West Bengal.  Now it is to see how will Prime Minister Narendra Modi react on BJP’s State Secretary’s letter and whether East Bengal and Mohanbagan can make a place in ISL 2017 or not.
