Retired IFS Officer Found Dead in Odisha


Bhopal: Vyapam scam has come back to haunt again with another mysterious death being reported in Odisha. As per a report in the Vijay Bahadur, a retired Indian Forest Services (IFS) officer, was found dead on railway tracks in Jharsuguda. Bahadur’s body was discovered early on October 15, the report said.

The retired bureaucrat had served as an observer for two recruitment tests conducted by the Vyapam. As per reports, Bahadur had gone to Puri in Odisha with his wife Nita Singh to attend a reunion of 1978 batch IFS officers. His body was found on railway tracks when he was returning to Bhopal.

According to Dilip Bag, deputy superintendent of police said that he died after falling from the moving train. But, the post-mortem report is still awaited and probe into the case will progress based on that. As per Nita, Bahadur had gone missing near Raigarh station, some 70km from Jharsuguda. Police launched an investigation to look the matter.
