Mumbai: In good news for the mobile phone users in India, Intex Technologies, one of the leading Indian mobile handset brands, has partnered with Reliance Jio to provide additional mobile data for its users. In a press release, Intex confirmed the collaboration by saying that it will be providing 25GB 4G data to Intex 4G smartphone users to enjoy their festive season to the fullest.

However, you won’t be getting this data in one go. To avail this offer, all the new Intex 4G Smartphone users, using a Jio connection will get an additional 5GB data, per recharge, over and above what they normally get, on a recharge of Rs 309 or above, limited to a maximum of 5 recharges.

Intex believes that this partnership will help it cater to the needs of the never-ending data appetite of today’s tech savvy consumers. “With this (Jio) partnership, Intex is catering to the needs of the never-ending data appetite of today’s tech savvy consumers especially during the festive season when data consumption will be limitless.

The world’s largest end-to-end IP network of Jio and Intex’s pan-India mobile distribution network will together be a delight for consumers. Partnering with Jio will surely boost our current and potential consumer base,” Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head – Mobiles, Intex Technologies said in the press release.

This Reliance Jio offer has been announced only two days after Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani claimed that Jio amassed 100 million subscribers in just 170 days and has a total subscriber base of more than 123 million and a market share of 10.39% as of June 2017, as per a report by FE Bureau.

While addressing the Jio employees on September 5, Ambani said, “In the past one year, we have broken several records, both in India and globally. But, what gives me the biggest personal satisfaction is to have broken the myth that India is not ready to adopt advanced technology.”
